In the event that the program ABITyper (converts files PC/Mac) for OSX does not work, we would suggest another program called TypeShufflerX.sit that has the same function.

TypeShuffler 1.1.1 for Mac OS X 10.1 or later
As soon as you have installed the program pull a unknown file with drag and drop onto the icon. Then you have to define the fields:
Creator ABI1 (capital letters)
File Type ABI1 (capital letters)
You could also pull a known (an old seq-file which is known through ABITyper) file over the TypeShuffler program icon.
TypeShuffler 2.0 for Mac OS X 10.2 or later
As soon as you have installed the program pull a unknown file with drag and drop onto the icon. Then you have to define the fields:
Creator Code ABI1 (capital letters)
File Type ABI1 (capital letters)
You could also pull a known (an old seq-file which is known through ABITyper) file over the TypeShuffler program icon.
